In the community with Diamonds and Pearls Mothers Organization. Supporting the Spot Light brunch to help impact the lives of Mothers and children while honoring community leaders.
I enjoyed attending the Diamond and Pearls Mother’s Day Organization Spotlight Brunch. Here is what I learned from these amazing speakers and community leaders:
1. Wanda Adams – Be grateful for what God has given you. Do well with what he gives you and he will give you more. God said he will make your name great before men. When the road gets hard, don’t give up. God is with you. Single women need to focus on where they are and honor God and then watch him honor you and send you everything/ everyone you need including “The One”. When you plant a harvest you will reap in due season. Its a blessing to receive your flowers while you are still here. She is always so eloquent and grateful. I learned by watching her….be worthy.
2. Pamela Luckett – She wants to bless our senior citizens and help bring them sunshine and joy so that they can still “smell the roses” while they are still here. She was blessed to help her mother make her transition and knows this is her greatest accomplishment. I can totally relate to that. What are we willing to do to empower our elders? They need us.
3. Yvette Adams – She is still planting her seeds and watching them grow. She continues to move forward and to give from her heart despite obstacles. What I learned is that I am still proud of her and the work she does to help empower women and children is priceless. ~ Leona Baker
