On November 16, 2019, Plans of Action Houston’s CEO, Leona Baker, was invited by Laurence “Larry” Payne to help celebrate his birthday with a cause to benefit Meals on Wheels Interfaith Houston Program. 100% of  all the monies collected that evening benefited the individuals who rely on food from Meals on Wheels.

Guest were delighted with the birthday festivities.  They  enjoyed varieties of cheese, wine and more.  Dr.  Stephen Klineberg entertained guest with an exceptional presentation on Houston’s demographics.  William-Paul Dunbar Thomas, Director of Council Relations, works at City of Houston, Mayor’s Office.  He along with other guest, wished Larry a happy birthday and congratulated him for the work he has done through his platform of 25 years as the producer of Dialogue Houston on HCC-TV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hwu4evO7M0
